ANT System

Organize your files and folders so every file has a predictable place and a name you can find from any search bar.

ANT (Archive Nesting Technique) combines three things: numbered folder structure, a strict naming format and small tools that set it up for you.

Folder structure

Numbered levels and modules (100.PERSONAL, 200.WORK, 300.PROJECTS…) that keep the tree shallow and predictable.

Naming conventions

Chill, Block and Control naming. A name like PRJ001_(25-06)Academic_[MikeWorld]_Thesis-Draft tells you what, when and for whom.

Support nodes

Fixed folders on every level for settings, review, templates, resources and finished work, so nothing piles up on the desktop.

Utilities

Windows tools that create your root structure and keep it tidy without touching the terminal.

📁 Your_Root

Students

Coursework, research and projects grouped by subject or semester, with versions you can track.

Home offices

Ongoing and finished client work, invoices and references in one structure you can hand off.

Personal use

Photos, documents and hobbies in a clutter-free space you can search in seconds.
